WILMA’s 2020 Leadership Institute, an annual nine-month program, gives area women the opportunity to learn from leaders in the region, visit a range of local companies, and serve as each others’ personal board of directors.
The program is part of WILMA’s Women to Watch Leadership Initiative, created to help develop more women leaders in our area.

How long have you been with your current employer? 10 years
Alma Mater: University of North Carolina at Pembroke
Prior Career Experience:
-Elementary educator, New Hanover County Schools
-Pharmaceutical sales representative, Takeda Pharmaceuticals
Current job responsibilities: As the Director of Practice Support Services, I lead a team of consultants to help regional practices meet quality improvement deliverables and ensure successful reporting under initiatives such as CMS’s Quality Payment Program, Medicaid Transformation (NC DHB), and Patient Center Medical Home (NCQA).
I am responsible for operationalizing and managing program/grant deliverables, budgets, and reporting, as well as staffing/training and maintaining strong relationships with partners and stakeholders within the community and state.
Hobbies: Spending time with friends and family; community and church involvement; traveling; boating; dancing.
