WILMA’s Leadership Institute: Meet Alice Hogarth

Snapshot of this year's Leadership Institute members

WILMA’s 2024 Leadership Institute, an annual nine-month program, gives area women the opportunity to learn from leaders in the region, visit a range of local companies, and serve as each others’ personal board of directors.

The program is part of WILMA’s Women to Watch Leadership Initiative, created to help develop more women leaders in our area.

Meet institute member ALICE HOGARTH.

Untitled Design 5Title: Senior Conference & Event Specialist

Company: nCino

How long have you been with your current employer?6.5 years! Celebrating my 7 year anniversary in September 2024

Alma Mater: University of North Carolina Wilmington

Prior career experience: Hospitality management (Concierge at the Blockade Runner and Sales Manager at the Hilton Garden Inn Mayfaire)

Current job responsibilities:I manage, plan and execute multiple event experiences for our executive level customers and prospects including 2 in the Spring at nCino’s annual user conference, nSight and 4 in the fall in various locations around the country. I strategize with nCino leadership on the goals for these events and I collaborate with multiple cross-department stakeholders on how to ensure each event will have the greatest impact possible on the sales pipeline and customer retention. I have created a strong foundation of internal relationships with nCino leaders, experts and executives that have elevated my efforts, role and reputation over the last 6.5 years. I have created a similar foundation of external relationships with various customers, partners and industry influencers and experts that leaves our external parties feeling valued, informed, and confident in their choice to be a part of nCino’s welcoming community. From strategy, to logistics, to helping support securing speakers and content, I’m involved in it all and nothing brings me as much joy as seeing customers and prospects getting true value from an event and making connections that will last a lifetime. Collaboration and communication are the keys to success!

Hobbies: I love to garden, go on walks with my pups, sunbathe on the beach and swim in the ocean, cook delicious food with my husband, work out at HotWorx, read novels, play pickleball and volleyball, and spend time with family and friends. I also love to give back to this amazing community we all call home. I am involved on the Board of Young Professionals at StepUp Wilmington and was nominated as Event Chair this past year. I help plan their annual fundraising luncheon event, volleyball tournaments, monthly pint nights, and other fundraising events with raffle giveaways and silent auctions.
