2022 Women to Watch Award Winners
Winners and finalists celebrated in ceremony
A decade into celebrating women in the community, WILMA’s Women to Watch Awards continues to highlight the efforts of women in diverse fields.
On Friday, a sold-out crowd of 500 at the Wilmington Convention Center celebrated the finalists and cheered on the winners of seven categories: Arts, Business, Education, Health, Nonprofit/Volunteer, Public Sector, and Rising Star.
“This is the tenth year of WILMA’s Women to Watch Awards, and we’re looking forward to adding this year’s group of finalists and winners to the esteemed roster of community leaders,” WILMA editor VICKY JANOWSKI says. “Friday was a much-deserved break to celebrate with friends and family and recognize the finalists’ hard work and accomplishments.”
The event also included an introduction to this year’s UNCW and CFCC scholarship winners as well as the announcement of the inaugural class of WILMA’s Future Leaders, a class of sixteen high-school juniors.
