WILMA’s 2023 Leadership Institute, an annual nine-month program, gives area women the opportunity to learn from leaders in the region, visit a range of local companies, and serve as each others’ personal board of directors.
The program is part of WILMA’s Women to Watch Leadership Initiative, created to help develop more women leaders in our area.
Meet institute member WHITNEY RICCI.
Whitney Ricci
Title: Corporate Regional Training Manager
Company: MegaCorp Logistics
How long have you been with your current employer? 11 years
Alma Mater: UNCW
Current job responsibilities: Overseeing all of onboard training for our sales hires from day 1 of employment through their career. I handle in person, virtual trainings, content creation for training materials & classes, manage the training for 2 office locations currently. Work as a team member within the training department with other remote trainers to ensure we are all delivering the highest quality content and leadership we can for the betterment of the employees and company. We work to help them grow in their sales or operations role, and provide support, motivation, and mentoring to improve their succusses.
Hobbies: Being with my family, Walking my dogs, Horseback riding, Building and growing my Etsy business.
