WILMA’s 2024 Leadership Institute, an annual nine-month program, gives area women the opportunity to learn from leaders in the region, visit a range of local companies, and serve as each others’ personal board of directors.
The program is part of WILMA’s Women to Watch Leadership Initiative, created to help develop more women leaders in our area.
Meet institute member SARAH EXLEY CRAVER.

How long have you been with your current employer? 2 Years
Alma Mater: University of North Carolina Wilmington
Prior career experience: Internship and over 3 years as an Associate with a large global accounting firm, CPA at a small local firm.
Current job responsibilities: In my current role, I provide tax and consulting services to a wide range of clients, specializing in multistate compliance, closely held businesses, and not-for-profits. I supervise projects from start to finish, working closely with our staff to both grow their skill sets and identify opportunities for our clients.
Hobbies: In my free time I enjoy reading, working puzzles, exploring new restaurants and breweries, and spending time with my husband, Josh, and our beagle, Maisy.
