WILMA’s Leadership Institute: Meet Olivia Clark

Snapshot of this year's Leadership Institute members

WILMA’s 2023 Leadership Institute, an annual nine-month program, gives area women the opportunity to learn from leaders in the region, visit a range of local companies, and serve as each others’ personal board of directors.

The program is part of WILMA’s Women to Watch Leadership Initiative, created to help develop more women leaders in our area.

Meet institute member OLIVIA CLARK.

How long have you been with your current employer? I officially started my business in June of 2022!

Alma Mater: I received both my undergraduate degree (Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Concentration in Accounting) and my master’s degree (Master of Science in Accounting, Concentration in Taxation) from UNCW.

Prior career experience: Senior Tax Accountant at a public accounting firm; Controller for an outsourced accounting firm

Current job responsibilities: I currently provide services ranging from daily bookkeeping/accounting system management to creating and managing budgets and other fractional controller duties. Above all, my responsibility is to walk alongside my clients and empower them to level up their businesses.

Hobbies: My hobbies include spending time with family and friends, reading, shopping, and enjoying the outdoors—especially when that involves a body of water and/or a boat!
