WILMA’s Leadership Institute: Meet Jenny Shearin

WILMA’s 2022 Leadership Institute, an annual nine-month program, gives area women the opportunity to learn from leaders in the region, visit a range of local companies, and serve as each others’ personal board of directors.
The program is part of WILMA’s Women to Watch Leadership Initiative, created to help develop more women leaders in our area.
Meet institute member JENNY SHEARIN.
How long have you been with your current employer? 2.5 years
Alma Mater: UNCW (BS) Belmont University (MBA)
Prior career experience: Associate Director Marketing, Sony Music Entertainment, Monument Records
Prior to joining nCino, Jenny spent a decade in Nashville, TN working for Sony Music Entertainment. There she developed and executed go-to-market strategies for country super stars such as Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood along with up and coming artists (at the time) Luke Combs, Maren Morris and Kane Brown. From radio promotion to artist development, Jenny understands how to connect the integral pieces of go-to-market for success.
Current job responsibilities:
- Drives the development of new corporate and solution brands in coordination with Marketing organization
- Partners with Product Development Organization to drive decisions on the value of future solution investments
- Leads research into market trends and competitive solution areas
- Drives success through cross-functional go-to-market strategies
Hobbies: As a former rower and crew coach, Jenny enjoys spending time on the water with her husband and three children.
