WILMA’s Leadership Institute: Meet Grace North
Snapshot of this year's Leadership Institute members
WILMA’s 2023 Leadership Institute, an annual nine-month program, gives area women the opportunity to learn from leaders in the region, visit a range of local companies, and serve as each others’ personal board of directors.
The program is part of WILMA’s Women to Watch Leadership Initiative, created to help develop more women leaders in our area.
Meet institute member GRACE NORTH.
Grace North
Company: Live Oak Bank
How long have you been with your current employer? 3.5 years
Alma Mater: Wofford College
Current job responsibilities: I am grateful to work with Live Oak Bank’s inclusive banking team to help expand access to capital to minority-owned, women-owned, and veteran-owned small businesses. Currently, I serve as a relationship manager for our Pathway to Capital program, where I help small business owners gain access to both capital and knowledge to successfully navigate business ownership.
Hobbies: Cooking is my favorite creative outlet, but I also love throwing pottery, gardening, and enjoying all the wildlife that wanders around the land where my husband and I live. I am also a loving cat mom/head of household staff to four furry beasts, Luna, Percy, Oliver, and Rufus.
