WILMA’s 2022 Leadership Institute, an annual nine-month program, gives area women the opportunity to learn from leaders in the region, visit a range of local companies, and serve as each others’ personal board of directors.
The program is part of WILMA’s Women to Watch Leadership Initiative, created to help develop more women leaders in our area.

How long have you been with your current employer?: Almost 2 years
Alma Mater: University of North Carolina at Wilmington
Prior career experience:
- Program Associate, Center for Healthy Communities at UNCW
Current job responsibilities: Developing mutually beneficial relationships with nonprofits, local businesses, and other entities in an effort to increase our abilities to open the full-service grocery store while also meeting the needs of our neighbors.
Hobbies: Watching Dawson’s Creek, Cooking new recipes from Pinterest, Having game nights with friends
