WILMA’s Leadership Institute: Meet Allie Rawl

Snapshot of this year's Leadership Institute members

WILMA’s 2023 Leadership Institute, an annual nine-month program, gives area women the opportunity to learn from leaders in the region, visit a range of local companies, and serve as each others’ personal board of directors.

The program is part of WILMA’s Women to Watch Leadership Initiative, created to help develop more women leaders in our area.

Meet institute member ALLIE RAWL.

Allie Rawl

RawlTitle: Loan Officer

Company: Live Oak Bank

How long have you been with your current employer? 7 years

Alma Mater: East Carolina University – Go Pirates!

Current job responsibilities: As a Loan Officer at Live Oak Bank I have the opportunity to work with current and future small business owners, specifically in the veterinary field.  My primary role is to assist in preparing a loan for underwriting and throughout the closing process, while ensuring we meet all SBA lending criteria.  It is imperative that I maintain a strong understanding of the current market trends in order to guide our customers in the right direction for their business decisions.

Hobbies: When not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two yellow labs on the water.  Together we love to travel, cook, hunt and explore Wilmington’s newest restaurant. We also thoroughly enjoy spending quality time with both of our extended families.
