How would you describe your art collection?
I tend to lean contemporary. I used to procure art, and I have a design background.
What’s your favorite piece? Can you describe it for me?
Choosing a favorite piece … that’s hard. There’s one by my fiancé and I’s longtime friend Cathy. It’s a view out of a window of Wilmington in the wintertime – over where the river and bridge meet – with a fiery red-orange sunset in the background. It stirs something deep and emotional within me.
But her favorite piece really is…
My fiancé did the decorative work in Thalian Hall. It moves me more than anything.
