Research shows that people who are mentored make more money and advance more quickly than those who are not, according to Kim Nelson, an advisor to WILMA Leadership’s mentoring program. As a part of the WILMA Leadership mentoring program, up-and-coming women in the community are matched with women and men mentors to assist with their leadership development. These mentoring relationships offer support, chances for growth, and invaluable advice to the involved mentees.
Each year a call for mentee applications opens for the year-round program. Applications will be open through the month of August and the program will run from October to September. Those who participated in WILMA Leadership programs during the previous year are invited to apply. This year’s mentoring lineup boasts an impressive list of individuals.
