WILMA’s 2025 Leadership Institute, an annual nine-month program, gives area women the opportunity to learn from leaders in the region, visit a range of local companies, and serve as each others’ personal board of directors.
The program is part of the WILMA Leadership Initiative, created to help develop more women leaders in our area.
Meet institute member SAYDY MONTOYA.
Saydy Montoya
Title: Human Resources Business Partner
Company: NC State Ports Authority
How long have you been with your current employer? 3.5 years
Alma Mater: UNCW
Prior career experience: Human Resources Coordinator at Peak Resources, a nursing home, memory care, and assisted living company in Nags Head, NC.
Current job responsibilities: Human Resources Business Partner at NC Ports, where I focus on providing HR support and solutions to enhance workforce performance and employee engagement.
Hobbies: I enjoy traveling, spending quality time with friends and family, and trying out new coffee shops!
