WILMA’s 2025 Leadership Institute, an annual nine-month program, gives area women the opportunity to learn from leaders in the region, visit a range of local companies, and serve as each others’ personal board of directors.
The program is part of the WILMA Leadership Initiative, created to help develop more women leaders in our area.
Meet institute member JOELLE DEVITA.

How long have you been with your current employer? 1.5 years
Alma Mater: East Carolina University
Prior career experience: Accounting & Administrative Assistant, Redbud Labs, ADP, Sales Associate, Uniquities Boutique, Assistant Store Manager
Current job responsibilities: Lead and work alongside a team of audit staff to complete financial audits for a number of private companies and non-profit organizations. This includes evaluating financials risks of the audit, testing specific financial accounts, and creating client financial statements and reports to deliver to the board.
Hobbies: Orangetheory, running, tennis, traveling, fashion
