WILMA’s 2025 Leadership Institute, an annual nine-month program, gives area women the opportunity to learn from leaders in the region, visit a range of local companies, and serve as each others’ personal board of directors.
The program is part of the WILMA Leadership Initiative, created to help develop more women leaders in our area.

Jessica Dew
Title: Clinical Business Development Director
Company: Lower Cape Fear LifeCare
How long have you been with your current employer? 6 years
Alma Mater: UNCW
Prior career experience: 20+ years of nursing experience to include emergency room, med/surg/hospice
Current job responsibilities: I oversee the nurse marketing team for Lower Cape Fear LifeCare which is the only nonprofit hospice and palliative agency in the area. My responsibilities include identifying strategies to support and increase agency growth, provide education and advocacy to our community and Identifying business partnerships that align with our mission to support future growth.
Hobbies: Gardening, traveling. Shopping, lounging by the pool, reading
