WILMA’s Leadership Institute: Meet Debbie Todd

WILMA’s 2025 Leadership Institute, an annual nine-month program, gives area women the opportunity to learn from leaders in the region, visit a range of local companies, and serve as each others’ personal board of directors.

The program is part of the WILMA Leadership Initiative, created to help develop more women leaders in our area.

Meet institute member DEBBIE TODD.

How long have you been with your current employer? 14 years

Alma Mater: San Diego State University

Prior career experience: Preschool Teacher/Director / Little Disciples Preschool, Mortgage Banker, Bankers Mortgage / Wilson & Muir Bank & Trust, National Sales Coordinator / WDRB-TV, Executive Assistant / WHAS-TV

Current job responsibilities: Serves as a lead Membership Director and work in collaboration with the Regional Membership Directors regarding team strategies and tactics, as well as, training new Membership Managers, volunteers, and staff, responsible for developing and implementing set objectives to increase girl and adult membership through effective recruitment and retention that is consistent with the philosophy of Girl Scouts.

Hobbies: Travel, making beads and earrings, live Concerts, Appalachian State Football games, Hurricanes Hockey games, Washington Nationals Baseball games, UNCW Seahawks Basketball games
