WILMA’s 2020 Leadership Institute, an annual nine-month program, gives area women the opportunity to learn from leaders in the region, visit a range of local companies, and serve as each others’ personal board of directors.
The program is part of WILMA’s Women to Watch Leadership Initiative, created to help develop more women leaders in our area.

Meagan David
Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Company: Corning Inc.
How long have you been with your current employer? 1.5 years
Alma mater: Virginia Tech
Prior career experience: Internship at Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab, 3 Co-op terms with Eastman Chemical Company
Current job responsibilities:
- Provide engineering production support for manufacturing process area
- Identify/implement solutions for process and equipment improvement through data analysis and experimentation
- Lead cost reduction/process optimization projects
Hobbies: Backpacking/hiking, reading, traveling, cooking, running, yoga
