WILMA’s Leadership Institute, an annual nine-month program, gives area women the opportunity to learn from leaders in the region, visit a range of local companies, and serve as each other’s personal board of directors. The program is part of the WILMA Leadership Initiative, created to empower women to lead with confidence and purpose. Meet institute member KYNDALL PEELE.

Prior career experience: Clinical Supervisor, Better Connections Therapist/Coach- Private Practice Director of Assessment and Internship- Bowie State University, UNI Professor- UNCW College Preparedness Professor- Fortes Community College, Psychology Professor- Bowie State University
Current job responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to students, staff, and faculty, providing coaching on expectations, performance, communication, and development.
- Analyze engagement and success data to identify risk trends and recommend targeted interventions.
- Partner with leadership to design programs that improve belonging, clarity, and retention.
- Elected Staff Senator advising senior leadership on employee experience, policy interpretation, and workplace concerns.
- Lead change initiatives related to onboarding, engagement programming, and role clarity.
Hobbies: Bike riding, gardening, attending music, food, and arts festivals, traveling, outdoor sports, wine tasting, reading, spending time with my family and dogs
