The Three Ladies in Wilmington networking group hosts its sixth annual Back Outside Day Party on May 16. The event – inspired by the ’90s – takes place 1-5 p.m. at Tap Yard, 502 South 16th Street. Organizers describe the vibes as “nostalgic day filled with throwback hits and good company,” featuring DJ Bigg B, raffles for drinks and prizes, “and an atmosphere that blends community, culture, and celebration.” Tickets are $10. SHERI LEAVENS, CONSTANCE FOREMAN, and CRYSTAL PELLOM (below) created Three Ladies in Wilmington, or 3LW, in 2021 to create “meaningful opportunities for Black professionals to find each other and connect.”
