Summer in the City

Pairing down the sweetness of florals

Floral prints. The words alone conjure up visions of dainty frocks designed for attending afternoon teas.

But, no more are our flowery friends relegated to just garden parties – this summer, they’ve been taking over the streets.

The key to not looking like a couch cushion is to find a pattern that doesn’t overpower you.

Choose prints made up of small elements or monochromatic colors to keep it urban and breezy. A chunky belt or leather sandal will tone down the sweetness even further and add a more laid-back feel. However you wear it, this bud’s for you.
