SBTDC adds Business Counselors for Area

SbtdcyoungThe Small Business and Technology Development Center at the University of North Carolina Wilmington hired CYNTHIA DEVITA-COCHRANE and CHERYL YOUNG as business resiliency counselors.

Young (above) joined the SBTDC’s COVID-19 Business Recovery and Resiliency Program.

She has twenty years of experience as an entrepreneur and was a business consultant with the Pennsylvania Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Shippensburg University for thirteen years.

DeVita-Cochrane recently joined the SBTDC at UNCW with experience as a mediator, business coach, entrepreneur, and industrial-organizational psychologist.

She has more than twenty years of organizational development/organizational behavior consulting experience.

DeVita-Cochrane earned a bachelor’s degree at Pepperdine University and completed mediation training through a joint program with CCS of Los Angeles and Pepperdine Law School.

She earned her masters, and Ph.D. degrees from Walden University.
