The LINKS Incorporated’s Wilmington chapter hosted its forty-ninth annual Fine Arts Brunch, “Empowering People to Transform Communities,” March 16 at the Wilmington Convention Center.

The keynote speaker was North Carolina Supreme Court Justice Anita Earls, joined by guest speaker Nia Franklin, Miss America 2019 (shown left), who spoke to the sold-out event with nearly 600 people.

Franklin says she celebrates female empowerment and continues to push for women’s equality.

The Links Incorporated, a volunteer service organization for women, was founded in Philadelphia in 1946.

The Wilmington chapter was chartered in 1951. The chapter's annual arts brunch event supports services to youth through several programs, including one with Freeman School of Engineering.

Here are some photos from the event.
