APRIL 2
Azalea 5K at Mayfaire Town Center
Join in this year’s Azalea Festival 5K, 10K, and 1-milekid’s run. Proceeds benefit the Cape Fear Volunteer Center’s Big Buddy Program. The start time is 8 a.m.
APRIL 6
Queen's Coronation at Port City Marina
The newest Queen Azalea will be crowned at this year’s coronation, free to the public.
APRIL 7
The Avett Brothers at Belk Main Stage
The Avett Brothers are back again as part of this year’s festival concerts. Tickets are $55, and the show starts at 7 p.m. at the Belk Main Stage.
APRIL 8
Azalea Garden Tour, Various locations Through April 10
Follow trails through these flowering gardens on this annual self-guided tour by the Cape Fear Garden Club. Tickets are $25 and are good for all three days. Info: capefeargardenclub.org
After Garden Get Down at Bluewater Grill
The restaurant hosts a free dockside party 2-5 p.m. after the ticketed Airlie Luncheon Garden Party event ends.
Street Fair, Downtown Wilmington Through April 10
Don’t miss this year’s street fair – a free event with face painting, food vendors, children’s area, and more. Multiple stages across the fair offer musical entertainment for everyone.
Art Show at Community Arts Center Through April 10
The Wilmington Art Association presents this year’s fine art show and sale at the Hannah Block Community Arts Center. Admission is free.
Art City Rockfest Tour at Multicultural Stage
Seventh Day Slumber, Decyfer Down, Childen 18:3, Spoken, and Disciple perform at a free event starting at 6 p.m. on the Street Fair and Multicultural Stage, 1 Princess Street.
Snoop Dogg at Belk Main Stage
Snoop Dogg performs with Doug E. Fresh at the Belk Main Stage concert venue. Tickets are $46.50, and the show starts at 7 p.m.
Boxing Tournament at CFCC Schwartz Center Through April 10
Watch these exciting matches and get close to the mat at this year’s boxing tournament. Admission is free, and entry fees are $10 in advance and $20 day of.

Historic Home Tour, Various locations Through April 10
Hear about Wilmington’s storied past at the historic home tour. Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 day of, and proceeds benefit the Historic Wilmington Foundation.
Coin Show at Elk’s Lodge Through April 10
Come out to the coin show for demonstrations and gold panning with more than thirty coin dealers. Free foreign coins will be given out to children.
Parade, Downtown Wilmington
Floats and marching bands fill the streets at the annual parade 9:30-11:30 a.m. along Third Street. Bleacher tickets are for sale online.
Chase RIce at Belk Main Stage
Hit country singer Chase Rice, with opener Kane Brown, round out this year’s concert series. The show starts at 7 p.m., and tickets are $36.50.
