Stage Debut

Ladyfolk’s Hysteria! comes to life

LADYFOLK PRODUCTIONS’ ORIGINAL PLAY HYSTERIA! debuts in November at North Front Theatre, 21 North Front Street in downtown Wilmington. The play “follows women through time as they dodge accusations of witchcraft, bear the blunders of ‘genius’ doctors, dream up apocalyptic worlds, and survive the uncanny valleys of reality TV,” according to writer and directors MEGHAN COOK and JESSLYN WILSON, who are also Ladyfolk Productions’ executive directors. “Hysteria! is the definition of a labor of love. We spent two years writing it and watching it change as we changed,” Wilson says.

The show runs November 5-8 and 12-15. Thursday-Saturday shows are at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday matinees are at 2 p.m. Info: instagram.com/ladyfolkproductions.
