WILMA’s Leadership Institute, an annual nine-month program, gives area women the opportunity to learn from leaders in the region, visit a range of local companies, and serve as each other’s personal board of directors. The program is part of the WILMA Leadership Initiative, created to empower women to lead with confidence and purpose. Meet institute member NAAMAH NOBLE.


Naamah Noble

Title:  Student Success Coordinator, Pipeline Initiatives

How long have you been with your current employer?  18 Years

Alma Mater:  University of North Carolina Wilmington (Graduate), Grand View University (Undergraduate)

Prior career experience: Prior roles include Student Success Advisor, UNCW, Student Records Coordinator, UNCW, Test Examiner, Des Moines Area Community College

Current job responsibilities: In my current role, I lead and coordinate pipeline initiatives to strengthen pathways into the School of Nursing and other healthcare majors, facilitating workshops, providing one-on-one coaching, and organizing events that support student engagement, academic success, and professional development. I also advise nursing students on program requirements and course selection while building strong partnerships with students, faculty, and community organizations to support seamless transitions and overall success.

Hobbies: I enjoy reading, pursuing my faith and spending quality time with friends and family, especially my granddaughter!
