WILMA’s Leadership Institute, an annual nine-month program, gives area women the opportunity to learn from leaders in the region, visit a range of local companies, and serve as each other’s personal board of directors. The program is part of the WILMA Leadership Initiative, created to empower women to lead with confidence and purpose. Meet institute member ERIN MARTIN.

Title: Field Marketing Specialist

How long have you been with your current employer? In June, it will be 2 years at Vantaca!
Alma Mater: UNCW
Prior career experience: Internship – nCino (2022-2024)
Current job responsibilities: My current responsibilities include assisting in the planning and execution of Vantaca’s full event portfolio. Coast to Coast (a regional thought leadership series, 8 events per year across the US), CAI Annual (the largest industry tradeshow we attend each year), 150+ industry tradeshows, and Vision (our flagship annual user conference, 600+ attendees) – while managing vendor and sponsor relationships, running communications campaigns, producing customer and prospect experiences around key events, and collaborating cross-functionally with sales and product teams to drive pipeline and engagement.
Hobbies: Outside of work, you’ll almost always find me with friends! I love to paint as a creative outlet, and I’m an avid runner (I just completed my first full marathon in February!) If I’m not painting or logging miles, you’ll probably find me on the water (wakesurfing is my favorite), hunting for shark teeth on the beach, grabbing a good coffee, or soaking up any excuse to be outside in the sunshine.
