The program is part of the WILMA Leadership Initiative, created to empower women to lead with confidence and purpose. Meet institute member SAVANNAH EDWARDS.

How long have you been with your current employer? 1 Year
Alma Mater: UNCW
Prior career experience: I have been in the hospitality industry for over 10 years. I began my career in activities through the Disney College Program during undergrad, followed by roles in resort activities and operations before transitioning into sales and events. I have since provided sales and event services across a variety of hotel companies and brands, including Hilton, Marriott, Choice Hotels and IHG.
Current job responsibilities: I oversee corporate and association group sales at Trailborn Surf & Sound. My role focuses on developing new business opportunities and managing client relationships to support group and event bookings at the property.
Hobbies: In my spare time, you can find me cycling at Recess by Bevin Prince, attending UNCW athletic events, or traveling with my fiancé.
